Last summer, a warm Friday in Sixteenth Street Heights meant a decision. Drive south to U Street, drive north to Silver Spring, or stay in and pretend the porch counted as a plan. The block was quiet in a way it had not always been. This summer that math changed.
The reason is a 4,200-seat amphitheater that has been dark since 2017.
